Date and Banana Bread

I found this recipe in this website.

- 3 bananas
- 200g pitted dates
- 2 eggs
- 70g softened butter
- 185g spelt flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 50g brown sugar
- butter + wholemeal flour for greasing and dusting the loaf pan.

Soak the dates for several minutes.

In the meanwhile we grease and dust the loaf pan with the butter and wholemeal flour.

Preheat the oven to 160C. Chop the dates in the food processor and then add bananas and chop again.

Put the chopped dates with banana into the large bowl or a stand mixer and add butter, sugar and eggs and mix it until all the ingredients are combined. In the other bowl mix all the dry ingredients and add them gradually into the wet mixture and mix it.

Transfer the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake 1,5 hour.
