Almond Cake with Plums

This recipe I have found in my little recipe book by Lenka Požárová .

It is tender and really delicious. 


- 350 g / 12 oz plums (with removed stones)
- 200 g / 7 oz blanched almonds
- 100 g/ 3,5 oz Ghí or butter
- 60 g / 2,5 oz unrefined brown sugar  
- 60 g/ 2,5 oz wholemeal flour
- 2 eggs
- 4 tablespoon milk

Preheat the oven to 380F/195C.

Mix the almonds until they are like flour. Stir them with softened butter or Ghí, flour, sugar, eggs and milk.

Put pastry into a cake tin (grease the tin or place the parchment in it)  and place the halves of plums on the top of the cake.

Bake for 35 minutes.

Cake is tasty hot even cool.
